I agree. It's definitely a smart move to ask for help when you are in a crisis. Everyone that has contributed to Haiti, my hat off to them for doing the right thing.

I just find that I need that personal face to face time once in awhile to remind me I am not alone, and that others face the same struggles I do. It is amazing how even one night a month with a bunch of business women can lift me up, they become my cheerleaders and I theirs!

I too struggle with making time to attend live networking events. Even though I get most of my clients through online networking, there is so much to gain just by getting out and talking with other business owners. I am going to follow your lead and try to get out to at least one per month.

my kids are all too young to be involved in any of this stuff but the time is coming. I make an effort to limit the amount of times my kids see myself of my husband using our phones or his BB. I also refused to buy any sort of gaming system for my son (5) many kids his age are addicted and although it is challenging to keep him occupied I would like to hold off as long as I can.
